Vedanta
Metal major Vedanta on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 1,369 crore for the March-ended quarter, down over 27% (YoY) compared to Rs 1,881 crore reported in the year-ago period. Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter stood at Rs 34,937 crore, down 6% YoY over Rs 37,225 reported by the company in Q4FY23.
Tech Mahindra
IT major Tech Mahindra reported a 41% year-on-year (YoY) drop in its March quarter net profit to Rs 661 crore. The same stood at Rs 1,117.70 crore in the March 2023 quarter. The figure was below ET NOW poll estimate of Rs 700 crore. The revenue from operations for the reported quarter stood at Rs 12,871.30 crore, down 6.2% YoY.The company has recommended a final dividend of Rs 28 per share which will be paid on or before August 9, 2024.
Bajaj Finance
Bajaj Finance reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,824.53 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, which was up by 21% Y-oY from Rs 3,157.79 crore reported by the NBFC in the year ago period. Total revenue from operations stood at Rs 14,926.21 crore which was up 31.34% YoY over Rs 11,364.01 crore reported in Q4FY23. The company has declared a final dividend of Rs 36 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2024.
ICICI Securities
ICICI Securities shares will be in focus as today is the ex-date and record date for interim dividend of Rs 17 per share.
Interglobe Aviation
Shares of InterGlobe Aviation which operates IndiGo will be in focus as the airline company will hold a conference call on April 30, Tuesday to discuss IndiGo’s recent business update related to an order of 30 A350-900 aircraft. In the 60-minute conference call which will begin at 5 pm, the senior management will discuss the above topic followed by a question-and-answer session from analysts and investors.
