A new AI biopic telling the story of Vladimir Putin’s life features an image of him shaking on the floor in a nappy filled with his own faeces.

The new film will be released by Polish studio AIO and is titled ‘Putin’.

It will be shown in 35 countries and describes itself as “up close and personal with the Kremlin leader’s story”.

In the trailer for the movie, Putin is seen shaking on the floor of what appears to be a hospital.

The Russian President’s AI character is wearing no clothes and is sitting leaning against the hospital bed with faeces seeping out of his underwear.

Other AI scenes show Putin in more familiar scenarios, such as competing in martial arts and talking with former Russian leader Boris Yeltsin.

One scene even shows Putin being caught in the act while having an affair.

The film is made by director Besaleel, also known as Patryk Vega.

Vega said in a statement: “Inviting Putin to the studio for 20,000 shots wasn’t an option and the archival materials available online didn’t allow for training a high-resolution deepfake model suitable for cinematic use.

“As a result, after nearly two years of development, we’ve created our pioneering AI-driven technology, enabling us to craft the cinematic character without relying on a real human model.”

The film also uses footage by Ukrainian journalists who covered Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

Besaleel added: “Putin is not just a film. It’s a response to a global quest to understand the motives and actions of one of the most controversial figures in contemporary politics.

“My production’s mission is to provide viewers with a ‘user manual’ for Putin, aiming to alleviate the fear and uncertainty that dominate today’s world.”
