Lupin Share Price: Lupin shares up 0.48% as Sensex rises

Shares of Lupin Ltd. gained 0.48 per cent to Rs 1668.0 in Tuesday’s session as of 01:49PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 51.38 points higher at 74057.32.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1703.8 and a 52-week low of Rs 766.05 on NSE. Around 24585 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:49PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 1656.8 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1683.65 and Rs 1621.0 during the session so far. The stock quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 39.44, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 42.01 and price to book value (PB) of 5.16, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 13.39.

Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 47.01 per cent stake in the company as of May 21, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 18.29 per cent and 16.82 per cent, respectively.

For the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4990.04 crore, down 4.53 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 5226.78 crore and down 11.7 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 359.43 crore for the latest quarter, up 52.33 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
