Stuffsearth.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 1.29%.

The best performers of the session on the were Ormat Technologies (TASE:), which rose 4.19% or 950.00 points to trade at 23,650.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Harel (TASE:) added 3.49% or 114.00 points to end at 3,379.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.32% or 14.80 points to 460.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:), which fell 1.12% or 130.00 points to trade at 11,450.00 at the close. OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.85% or 23.00 points to end at 2,686.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.50% or 60.00 points to 11,910.00.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 181 and 95 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.42% or 0.35 to $82.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.55% or 0.48 to hit $86.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.05 to trade at $2,395.45 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was unchanged 0.08% to 3.79, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 4.04.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 105.87.
