godrej consumer q4 results: Godrej Consumer Q4 Results: FMCG major posts loss of Rs 1,893 crore against profit a year ago

Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) on Monday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 1,893 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 versus net profit of Rs 452.14 crore in the year-ago period.

The company also declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per share for the financial year 2024-25 and the record date for ascertaining the names of the shareholders who will be entitled to receive the said dividend is Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The dividend will be paid on or before Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

The revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,365.11 crore for the reported quarter which rose 6% over Rs 3,172.21 crore posted by the company in the year-ago period.

In the previous quarter, the company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 581.06 crore while its revenue from sales of goods stood at Rs 3,172.21 crore.
