Future Gaming & Hotel Services was noteworthy because it donated over Rs 1,300 crore to political parties via electoral bonds — higher than any other entity. Interestingly, this amount is over six times its combined net profit of Rs 215 crore for 2019-2023. Future Gaming is not alone. Several other corporate entities with weak financial performance have also donated a significant chunk of their earnings or profits to political parties through the now-banned electoral bonds.
