The bank board approved the financial results on Saturday and recommended the re-appointment of Govind Singh as the managing director and CEO of the Bank for another three years with effect from September 21, 2024. The current term of Singh will end on September 20, 2024.
Its net interest income rose 22.6% at Rs 413 crore. Other income was higher at Rs 83 crore against Rs 71 crore.
Its asset quality improved with gross non-performing assets ratio falling to 3.04% at the end of the reporting period from 3.58% a year back. Net NPA was at 0.19% as compared with 0.72%.
