Ukraine in trouble as US missile supply runs dry while Putin continues to pulverize cities | World | News

Jimmy Rushton, a Kyiv-based defence analyst, told the Telegraph: “There will be some systems where they will have to ration their ammunition even more than they are at the moment.

“It could be a case that they have to just not engage some targets, because they don’t have enough interceptors to go around.

“That’s obviously a horrible decision to have to make, but if you really believe that you’re running out of missiles to engage incoming targets, you’re going to have to ration them to protect the targets that you believe to be most important.”

Putin made no mention of Ukraine by name in his New Year’s Eve address but made a clear statement of intent to continue the war in Ukraine after cities across the country were bombarded on December 29th.

In his speech, he said: “We have repeatedly proven that we can solve the most difficult problems and will never back down because there is no force that can separate us.

“To all those who are serving on the front line in the fight for truth and justice, you are our heroes. Our hearts are with you. We are proud of you, we admire your courage.

“We are united in our thoughts, in toil and in battle.

“We will ensure the confident development of the Fatherland, the well-being of our citizens, and we will become even stronger.”
