Tube Investments Share Price: Share price of Tube Investments falls as Sensex drops 422.34 points

Share price of Tube Investments of India Ltd. dropped 0.98 per cent to Rs 3767.95 at 01:38PM (IST) in Wednesday’s trade. The counter hit a high of Rs 3803.95 and low of Rs 3740.5 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 3805.4 in the previous session.

The counter had a total traded volume of 01:38PM shares so far with a turnover of Rs 0.22 crore on BSE. The stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 61.39 and a price-to-book ratio of 18.18.

A higher price-to-earnings ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

The price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

Promoters held 45.1 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2024, while foreign investors and domestic institutional investors ownership stood at 28.33 per cent and 14.8 per cent, respectively.

Key Financials
The firm reported consolidated sales of Rs 4573.48 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2024, up 7.48 per cent from the previous quarter’s Rs 4255.19 crore and up 19.62 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 3823.42 crore.

Its profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 189.53 crore, down 39.22 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
