The NSE Nifty50 index ended 5.65 points up at 23264.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 33.49 points at 76456.59.

On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.47%), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.35%), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 1.2%), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.1%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.01%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.9%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 0.89%), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.64%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.52%) and Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.51%) closed in the red.
