A group of Kansas City Chiefs fans gathered to watch the regular season finale against the Los Angeles Chargers on January 7. Days later, there was a horrifying discovery.
Three men were found frozen to death in their friend’s backyard after the fiancée of one of the men called the police for a welfare check when he did not return home, according to the New York Post.
The three men were identified as David Harrington, 37, Ricky Johnson, 38, and Clayton McGeeney, 36.
One of the men was found on the terrace, while the other two were in the backyard.
The homeowner, however, claims to have had “no knowledge” that the bodies of his friends were frozen in his backyard for approximately 48 hours.

While it certainly raises a few eyebrows, Kansas City Police Capt. Jake Becchina says that the case is not being investigated as a homicide.
Family and friends of the deceased still called out the homeowner, saying they knew that people were looking for the victims and that he had read text messages from those who were searching for them.
“This man was inside his home alive while my friends were dead in his yard for lord knows how long,” Kaylee La Tier wrote on Facebook. “They were all hanging out since after the game Sunday. He KNEW people were looking for them. He read messages of people searching for him on Tuesday.
“My husband banged on his door for 20 [minutes]. My friend banged on his door and then busted a window and yelled and announced her presence while she’s inside and still nothing from him? Then the cops come 10 [minutes] later and he comes out nonchalant in his boxers with an empty wine glass in hand??! Nothing is adding up. Dave, Clay and Ricky need and deserve justice.”
The homeowner’s attorney is adamant that the homeowner did not know his friends were still in the backyard and that it was not unusual for his friends to leave their cars at his home overnight.
