Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.99 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.91 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.65 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 3.81 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.83 per cent), DLF Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.73 per cent down at 1028.1.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 208.0 points at 24139.0, while the BSE Sensex stood down 692.89 points at 78956.03. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 ended in the green, while 36 closed in the red. Shares of Vodafone Idea, Ola Electric Mobilit, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and RattanIndia Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of The Western India, Goldiam Intnl, Dynacons Sys, Triveni Turbine and Inox Wind Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Coffee Day Ent, Focus Lighting, SecUR Credentials, Nandani Creation and Equippp Social Impact hit their fresh 52-week lows.
