Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 4.74 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.95 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 2.51 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.71 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.96 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.55 per cent up at 1022.25.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 250.5 points at 24367.5, while the BSE Sensex stood up 819.69 points at 79705.91. Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 ended in the green, while 6 closed in the red. Shares of Ola Electric Mobilit, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and NBCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of SMS Lifesciences Ind, KFIN Technologies, Avanti Feeds, Authum Investment and Airan Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Shankara Bldg Prod, 8K Miles Soft, Avalon Technologies, Ravindra Energy and AGI Infra Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows.
