On the other hand, LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 3.81 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Coforge Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(down 1.23 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty IT index closed 0.67 per cent down at 41960.95.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 63.75 points at 26004.15, while the BSE Sensex stood up 255.83 points at 85169.87.
