ICICI Lombard Share Price: ICICI Lombard shares drop 1.72% as Sensex falls

Shares of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. traded 1.72 per cent down at Rs 1641.05 at 02:09PM (IST) on Tuesday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex dropped 248.35 points to 72583.59. The stock had closed at Rs 1669.8 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1739.95 and Rs 1056.0, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:09PM (IST) stood at 02:09PM shares with turnover at Rs 0.91 crore.

At the current price, shares of the company trades at 44.11 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 37.3 per share and 5.03 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.64. Shareholding Details
Promoters held 47.91 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Dec-2023, while FIIs owned 23.04 per cent and DIIs 17.86 per cent.
