Bobby Deol gets emotional at IIFA 2024.

Bobby Deol took home the award for Best Villain for his role in Animal. The actor was visibly emotional after the win.

Bobby Deol got emotional after it was revealed that he has won Best Villain Award at IIFA 2024. The actor won the award for his performance in Animal. In a video from the awards show, Bobby was seen tearing up after his name was announced as the winner of the category. Seated beside his wife Tanya, Bobby hugged Tanya and kissed her before he walked up on stage.

The actor accepted the award while fans in the room roared. Bobby fought back tears as fans cheered him on. Fans were also heard chanting his name. “Thank you, thank you so much. I can hear it in your voices, ho much you feel that I won this award. It makes a difference when I hear it in your voices that I should win this award. thank you so much,” he said.

“I am not good at saying things but…” Bobby confessed when the crowd erupted again. He tried to silence the crowd by recreating his iconic finger on the lip pose from Animal. Vicky then requested him to dance on Jamal Kudu. The actor not only obliged but also brought director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on stage. Watch the video below:

Animal marked extra special for Bobby for the film marked his big comeback vehicle. Although his role was limited and mute in the film, Bobby’s presence made a massive impact on audience. So much so that people began calling him as ‘Lord Bobby’.

Meanwhile, Animal also picked up three more big awards. These include Best Film, Best Supporting Actor (Male), which was awarded to Anil Kapoor and Best Playback Singer (Male), which was presented to Bhupendra Babban.
